3 Cut the pork into 2 cm x 2 cm cubes. Add the pork cubes to the spice mixture and stir. Cover and leave to marinate overnight in the fridge.

4 The next day, remove the meat from the marinade and thread onto the soaked wooden skewers. Pre-heat the grill. Place the marinade in a pot and bring to a boil.

5 Roast the kebabs on the grill for approx. 5–10 minutes, basting regularly with the marinade.

1 onion

1 garlic clove

1 red pepper

700 g tomatoes

1 tbsp freshly chopped flat parsley

4 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp sugar

salt

pepper

4 rump steaks (160 g each)

1 Peel the onion and garlic. Wash the pepper. Score the tomatoes with a cross and remove the stalks. Scald with boiling water, peel, deseed and dice. Finely chop the pepper, onion, parsley and garlic, and put in a large saucepan with 3 tbsp olive oil, oregano and sugar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
